We listed on our Facebook page that we were in need of a fairly cheap laptop, for our ministry. We have had problems with CD players in the past not reading a disk, so we decided to upgrade to using a laptop, but our funds were limited. Only TWO DAYS after we listed the need for a CHEAP laptop, we were contacted and offered a FREE laptop!! God is SO GOOD and He knows our needs before we ever know them. Crossing Jordan would like to thank Melissa Wiggins Tyson of Vanceboro, NC for having the open heart she has to helping God fulfill His plan!! Melissa said that when her husband, Todd, read her the comment we had posted, she did not hesitate to freely give the laptop to our ministry. We pray that God will richly bless Melissa and her family!! Crossing Jordan is seeking a vocalist to join our group. You MUST be able to hear and sing parts for the purpose of blending harmonies. If you do not know parts, we cannot teach them to you. We would prefer a soprano or tenor, but would consider anyone interested. The reason for the advertisement is due to the retirement of one of our members. You MUST be a born again Christian and be walking the walk, not just talking the talk. Our reason for what we do is to glorify God Almighty and to lead lost people to the gift of salvation from God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This is a non-paying position therefore you must be dedicated to ministering for the purpose of Jesus Christ. This is our purpose. We do NOT perform to put on a show or bring glory to ourselves, but only to our Heavenly Father!! We practice in Kinston weekly, so you should live within a fairly close distance in order to be able to attend.
